The pool looks sad. Just wait.
It's late afternoon, the shadow from the house is covering the pool. The patio has been extended from the existing patio out to the edge of the pool, and an angled step has been created at both ends. The extended patio hasn't yet been tiled (with travertine), but you can see how it will look when finished.
Meanwhile, in the side yard, the outdoor kitchen is being built. The wall has already been stuccoed and painted and trimmed out in brick (in the previous photo, as well).
