January, 2013. We spent a COLD week in Scottsdale. This hike was taken on Wednesday, January 16th, the first day temperatures reached 60 degrees. I took these pictures on the summit. On my way back down, I almost fell and, in the process, destroyed my right shoulder. This is a picture of Superstition Mountain.
